Newly Remodeled

In October 2019, we completed a 6-month, top-to-bottom, remodel of our condo! All the windows and sliding lanai doors were replaced, and we even added a third sliding door in the living room to expand the ocean view! All the flooring was replaced with beautiful porcelain plank tile (inside as well as out on the lanai). Both shower enclosures were also renovated with the porcelain tile. We basically took the condo "down to the studs", rebuilt it, and the result is amazing! Please check out all the updated photos of the "new" Elua 701. Living Room And Dining Area

From the moment you walk through the door of Elua 701, you will feel at home in our remodeled condo. You will experience the quality touches from the granite counter tops to the cool tile flooring. The open floor plan of the main living area includes the well-stocked gourmet kitchen, the dining area with a bar and chilled wine locker, the expansive living room with an additional sitting area, and an entertainment center with a 58-inch Samsung Smart 4K UHD television and a Sonos soundbar system -- all with a fantastic ocean view. The dining area features a stunning, live edge, curly mango wood dining table with teak and rosewood chairs. Additionally, we have a beautifully restored, vintage curly koa wood living room set from the 1940’s which brings the feeling of true Hawaiiana into our home.

Ocean Views From The Lanai (Patio)

The lanai (patio) off of the living room is huge, adding over 400 square feet of outdoor space to the already spacious 1260 square-foot interior area of our condo. This outdoor space is partially covered so there is always sun or shade available for your enjoyment. The lanai also provides two chaise lounges and a comfortable outdoor dining area for four people. Additionally, there is an intimate bar-height table for two that is truly a special place for morning coffee and evening drinks at sunset.

***Please note, due to a change in the Maui County Fire Code, individual lanai BBQ grills are no longer allowed at Elua Village. While the photos below show a BBQ grill on our lanai, we had to remove the grill in early 2022. However, community BBQ grills are available at the two pool areas, as well as other locations throughout the property.***

State of the Art Kitchen

The open-concept gourmet kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, bamboo cabinets, multiple levels of task lighting, a ceiling fan, and a wonderful view. Additionally, the large breakfast bar, kitchen prep area features a stunning granite counter top. We consistently receive 5-star reviews for how “well-equipped” our kitchen is.

Master Bedroom Suite

The luxury Master Suite features a new extra-large 'California King' bed, high-thread-count sheets and bedding, as well as a 40-inch Vizio Smart 4K television. The bedroom set itself is beautiful, hand carved, solid mahogany. Additionally, there is a cozy seating area with a vintage, hand carved, solid rosewood chair and side table. The en-suite bathroom features over-sized spa bath towels, and has separate vanity and shower spaces. The vanity area has twin sinks, a beautiful granite counter top, bamboo cabinets, and ample storage and closet space. The bathroom features a large, door-less, no-threshold, walk-in shower, with Hansgrohe fixtures and gorgeous accent tile.

Guest Bedroom

The large guest bedroom also has a new extra-large 'California King' bed, high-thread-count sheets and bedding, as well as a 40-inch Vizio Smart 4K television. This bedroom features live-edge, solid acacia wood furnishings, and a modest ocean view. The adjacent bathroom has a walk-in shower, with Hansgrohe fixtures, and gorgeous accent tile. This bathroom also contains the laundry area featuring a full-size, front-loading washer and dryer set for your use.

You should also know that…

Elua 701 is one of the few truly “owner-managed” Wailea Elua Village properties available. Believe it or not 85% of the Elua Village listings on the internet are managed and operated by vacation rental management companies on Maui, where a guest will have no interaction with the actual owner of the condo. In contrast, Julie and I personally handle and manage every single inquiry and booking for Elua 701. If you book our condo, or send an email or call to ask a question, you will interact directly with us, not a management company.

Since this is truly an owner-managed property, you will receive owner-direct pricing. You will also find our home is lovingly cared for with the greatest attention to detail. Our guests also receive exceptional personal attention throughout the entire inquiry and booking process as well as during their stay in our home, which is something they might not receive from a property that is not directly managed and cared for by the owner. The quality of your vacation experience in Elua 701 is very important to us, because we know that it is very important to you.

While Julie and I personally handle and manage all details of your booking, we also have the support of a guest services company on Maui that provides the cleaning and maintenance services required to maintain the high standards we insist upon. The support of this company is available 24/7 to our guests during their stay in Elua 701 should there be a question or issue that Julie and I cannot immediately answer or resolve from our home in California.

*Please note: The maximum occupancy for Elua 701 is four adults, and our home is not suitable for children under 18 years of age. The Wailea Elua Village Homeowner’s Association requires a minimum stay of 5 nights for all vacation rentals. We do not offer daily maid service. All bookings are subject to a check-out cleaning fee of $502.83 (including taxes). For stays of 14 nights or more, mid-stay cleanings will be conducted on a nominal 7-day interval. The cost of a mid-stay cleaning service is $339.75 (inclusing taxes). All bookings are also subject to the Wailea Elua HOA guest check-in fee of $237.17 (including taxes).
